  1. FocalBlur says:

The Difference is that a Marketing Consultant helps an organization market better or differently to fulfill the organizations goal or needs. Whereas a Marketing Representative implements different marketing strategies, sometimes gathered information from a Marketing Consultant.

    Hope that helps

Look at the job descriptions. If they both have tasks related to ‘sales’ they are both the same. Just a fancy way to say sale’s person.

  4. Jeff – In my opinion, there is a big difference between a Marketing Representative and a Marketing Consultant. A Marketing Represetative would be someone who represents the interest of a specific company and/or brand. This person is dedicated to the interests of the company and/or brand they represent. A Marketing Consultant is someone who consults with an indvidual or company and provides their expertise in the marketing field. An example of this would be someone who consults with a Loan Originator to position them to best utilize their unique selling proposition.

Hope you’re doing well my friend.
