I heard of EBoot Camp through a BBB networking event. I attended just for the speaker Corey Perlman, because it sounded interesting. I couldn’t write fast enough while he spoke and purchased the book to learn more! It’s the best information I’ve ever heard on web presence. This book has put me light years ahead of the competition in my business, and my future endeavors. What his book is doing for my business is more than I could’ve dreamed! Every business owner who doesn’t read this book is missing the boat!

In the past year, I’ve had so much internet marketing information thrown at me: I became confused, spread thin, and scatter-brained. I didn’t know where to start, and rarely got the big picture.
Well, today I can say my mind has changed. I was looking for a good overview book—and it is a good overview, but it doesn’t overwhelm.
Many say that this book is for beginners, but I wasn’t a “beginner’s beginner” and it helped release me from my stress. Although this is a great start, I still have work to accomplish. I’ll head back to my “walk-through’s,” “exercises” and “brief templates” to help me.

This book seems like it was written in a week. Or less. There just is not a lot of info in it. And for the most part, what’s in it is pretty basic. I found very little I didn’t already know about.
The book was published in January ‘09. Just 5 months later, an Amazon reviewer called “Swati Nigam” wrote in their review:
“He has written a chapter about how important meta tags keywords is to search engines including Google. But I know that Google does not look at meta tags keywords anymore. So when I emailed him about it, he explained to me that its true Google does not, but many other search engines still do, and that it is a good place to list commonly misspelled words (you wouldn’t want them on your main content). However, I hope in his later book revisions, he would let people know that Google does not use meta tags keywords.”
Um, yeah. That’s important to know and it’s not in the book.
Save your money. Not recommended.

Thank you Corey! I am definitely not a computer guy, but I did just recently launch a website,[...], with the help of a developer. I wish I had read your book before launching; however,just about everything in your book applies to me and my site post-launch. I truly appreciate the way you broke down and simplified extremely important aspects of driving traffic to my site. The “hands on” or interactive sections in your book such as “Walkthroughs” and “Exercises” were particularly helpful as I tend to learn by doing. After reading about a specific topic, you then “showed” me how to do it. Using your information and applying it directly to my site, right then and there, was extremely helpful and powerful. Using your own stories and a bit of humor made the book just that much more enjoyable. I look forward to increased traffic at no cost by simply applying your advice. Thanks again!
